At Macomatech, come explore the stunning models of Mecca and Masjid Al Nabwa—works of art, architectural marvels built with painstaking precision and master craftsmanship. Above all, these are not just models but a gesture of reverence toward the spiritual and cultural importance of two of Islam’s most sacred places.

It took a perfect blend of latest Additive manufacturing, Hand-finished artistry, and Design innovation to capture the splendid beauty of Makkah Haram and Madina Masjid Al Nabawi. Crafted for exhibitions, presentations, and cultural displays, our models present you with a new way to enjoy this iconic architecture — to the smallest detail, whether that be grand domes or a fully functioning miniature train set.

Welcome to a world of craftsmanship and commitment, where centuries old tradition fuses with cutting edge technology and form becomes art.

Cutting-Edge Technology Meets Traditional Craftsmanship

To produce these superb models took a combination of the latest technology and old fashioned skill. Sophisticated 3D printing technology is at the core of the procedure, which allows the exact reproduction of complicated architectural details impossible to accomplish solely by hand. The highly-detailed domes are moulded using resin casting to achieve proper curves and textures when comparing one against the original structures.

The acrylic cases have laser-engraved markings to keep things spic and span and add mass and size to the models. The combination of these technologies provides the consistency and accuracy one expects while retaining the tactile richness of manual curation by the hands of a master. Each miniature is masterfully painted and beautifully sculpted by some of the finest artists in the industry and matched with a wide range of rich and detailed sculpts, gameplay systems, and backgrounds. This fusion of traditional technique with modern design creates models that are pleasant to look at and stable to build at every level of pressure, instilling that sense of the sacred sites.

The creation of the model: A walk-through

00:00:00 – Saudi scaled model project Introduction

So if you’re interested join us for inside look at #Saudi_masters scaled model project. An art of both engineering and craftsmanship. No stone is left unturned to get those models to take shape, from the idea to the finished product. This ambitious initiative includes making the replicas of Makkah Haram and Masjid al-Nabawi by scaling. It will also feature a working train and a station. Each model is an icon of Saudi Arabia’s famous landmarks and transportation system. But this is not an ordinary project.

00:00:34 – Phase one: Generation of samples

It has a custom 6 m train. It features LED lights, magnetic removable pieces and realistic interior details. Allow us to walk you through the intriguing process of how we put it all together. We are started from stage one, which is the development of the sample. We started with models of the Makah Haram Masjid al-Nabawah and some LED trains. These early versions helped us iterate and get things right. This stage was about ‘miniaturising’ the Kaaba and Masjid-al-Nabawi.

00:01:10 – Stage two: Architecture models in miniature

We shrank it all down however we retained its architectural scale. Heading of the model is cast in resin; for substance, plastic marked like the actual was adopted for the cover. Wall-based structures were fabricated by FDM 3D printing. Then they stained, painted and finished them. And Masjid al-Nabawi was thus established. In phase three, we concentrated on creating a bigger MKA Medina model. We also did the train batch production. A strict process in the body of the train.

00:01:44 – Step 3: Model creation training

There are some significant steps for SLA 3D printing to get a high-quality finish. First, apply a primer. Next, sand the surface. Both processes ensure that flaws are smoothed. Then, add those little details that don’t matter, but they absolutely do look sweet. And finally, you’ll need to paint it up to make the model look its best. Then mounted the electrical parts. It was even modified to included LED lights and gadgets. It enabled the train to run continuously without stopping. As we added them, detailed train elements took up as area as our desk. Final assembly was now possible. Finally the train was done. And now for the MKA model.

00:02:24 – MKA model print and assembly

3D printing with FDM for precision. PLA material ensured structural integrity. Flatout Laser: The cutting of acrylic for regular flat shapes. Test mounting and preassembly were done before painting. A primer finish offered a smooth surface. Finally, a layer of granite texture painting for a realistic touch. [781] The most careful art gave each of the details life. The final assembly was nothing short of a triumph. The Saudis put in months of work and innovation, and the project is finished. Every place from the grand Makkah Haram to the detailed Masjid al-Nabawi reflects an incredible design and expertise. “We’ve got the shiny train and the working station that is bringing people on its tracks.”
